Looking Ahead...

As someone who has in the past experienced things that would warrant a trigger warning, I just want to start with I am overjoyed to be alive and doing what I love.

Looking back, I didn't know if I'd reach my 20th birthday, let alone my 33rd next week. I am so proud of the person I have created from a wealth of happy experiences and no dearth of not-so-great experiences. I've learned (through a lot of years of therapy!) to love myself as I am, as I was, and as I could be someday. The picture above was taken right before a virtual interview with a major University's Sound Design program for undergraduates. They are looking at growth opportunities and I am excited about the prospect of growing alongside them.

For anyone struggling; know that there are brighter days ahead: I just know it!
